JOIN THE BGC AS A RESEARCH ASSISTANT

As a research assistant, you can be involved in many aspects of our researching, including: Recruiting participants, running a diverse set of experimental procedures, conducting data entry and preliminary analyses, and presenting research in lab meetings and research symposia.

The minimum time commitment is nine hours per week (with opportunities for students who can commit to more). Most students continue in our lab for at least three quarters. After a probationary quarter, you may be able to register for two to four credits per quarter, either S/NC or for a letter grade.

JOIN THE BGC AS A PROGRAMMING INTERN

You will be involved in our software development activities from conceptualization through implementation. Activities include working on team projects to implement new features into our software projects (most using the UNITY Game Engine). Required experience includes CS 100 or equivalent experience, familiarity with object-oriented programming, and familiarity with Unity or C#

The minimum time commitment is four hours per week (with more opportunities available for students who can commit to more). After a probationary quarter, you may be able to register for two to four credits per quarter, either S/NC or for a letter grade. Commensurate with experience and tenure with the Brain Game Center, monetary compensation may be available.

JOIN THE BGC AS AN VISUAL ARTIST, SOUND DESIGNER, OR GAME DESIGNER

You will be involved in our software development activities by supporting our creative operations. Activities include helping design our programs, developing art assets, and/or sound design. Required experience includes expertise in digital art, sound, and/or game design.

The minimum time commitment is four hours per week (with more opportunities available for students who can commit to more). After a probationary quarter, you may be able to register for two to four credits per quarter, either S/NC or for a letter grade. Commensurate with experience and tenure with the Brain Game Center, monetary compensation may be available.
